As an existing client, you can order prescriptions. We are very pleased that you have chosen a private, small, family-run clinic.

Ordering prescriptions
The rules governing prescription orders are set by law. We follow the Swedish Board of Agriculture's regulations concerning veterinarians' rights to prescribe and supply medicines.

These regulations mean that the animal must be examined by a vet for all prescription issues. For the clinic, it is important to ensure proper use of medication regarding antibiotic resistance and infection control. According to the Swedish Board of Agriculture's regulations, there are some exceptions for animals that are patients with us.

Exceptions:

• Cat contraceptive pills; please note there is an increased risk of mammary tumours and uterine infections, so use contraceptive pills for the shortest time possible

• Antiparasitic agents administered orally or topically (several are available over the counter at pharmacies)

• Chronic conditions such as persistent joint pain

• Chronic conditions such as certain hormonal diseases
